Distinguished Service Awards Banquet

We will be honoring 11 awards this year. They are as follows:

Outstanding Agribusiness Person of the Year
Outstanding Business of the Year
Outstanding Child Care Provider of the Year
Outstanding Citizen of the Year
Outstanding Educator of the Year
Outstanding Emergency Care Volunteer of the Year
Outstanding Firefighter of the Year
Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year
Outstanding Senior Volunteer of the Year
Outstanding Young Citizen of the Year
Outstanding Young Minnesotan

The Distinguished Service Awards were started in 1999 to honor Brainerd Lakes citizens who have served the community in a variety of capacities. Derived from the Ten Outstanding Young Americans program, “The DSA” typically honors 10 individuals annually. The Brainerd Jaycees partner with Brainerd Community Action, The Brainerd Dispatch, Lake Printing and a variety of other non-profit organizations to identify the honorees.
